Kitchen Stories

Kitchen Stories will be exactly that: stories from my time as a cook, whether they be like my first post recounting how I learned how to make Poppie, the ubiquitous French Canadian stew, my experience on Food Network’s Ultimate Recipe Showdown, or adventures in cooking anything from medieval cuisines in unusual circumstances or real life “No Shit, There I was,” culinary catastrophes. They are real. Maybe I’ll change some names to protect the innocent, but I’ll be as frank and factual as I can be while still keeping it fun. The stories may not be in chronological order, nor will they necessarily be related. Follow along and enjoy them nonetheless.
